The Clemson Tigers were our preseason pick to win the National Championship and we’re still holding strong that they’ll complete the job they started in last year’s championship game. But with two full weeks to go before the National Semifinals let’s take a look at our top picks for bowl season starting tomorrow in New Mexico.
When we last left the 2016 college basketball season we had successfully picked Villanova to win the National Title game against North Carolina as 3-point dogs. We also picked Villanova as one of our preseason future plays on November 11th, 2015 at 25-1. Now let’s get on to the 2017 season!
There is no doubt which team has been the talk of the NFL in 2016. The 11-1 Dallas Cowboys enter their NFC East showdown on Sunday night at New York with a shot to win the division and exact revenge from the only team to beat them this season.

On top of that for only the third time over the past 20 years every team entering their Thanksgiving Day game comes in following a win.
The Washington Redskins are quietly making a move in the NFC by going 5-1-1 SU & 6-1 ATS over their last seven games. If they qualify for the post-season it will be the first time they’ll have accomplished the feat in consecutive seasons since 1992. They’re also trying to capture NFC East supremacy in consecutive seasons for the first time since 1984.
Thanks to Coach Ken Niumatalolo and a player nobody imagined would be worth the uniform he bore, Navy football is one win away from clinching the AAC West which would put them in position to earn their first-ever conference championship in the 137-year history of the football program.
QB Philip Rivers and the San Diego Chargers are very much alive for a possible playoff run thanks to winning three of their last four games. The Chargers have now moved within a game of the .500 mark for the first time since a Week 2 win over Jacksonville as they host fellow Wild Card hopeful Miami on Sunday.
