One of the top sporting events of 2015 is less than 48 hours away.
College basketball fans tuned in to tournament preview shows tonight trying to find the answers to their bracket contest dreams.
One of the most talked about early round trends each season is trying to figure out which 12th seed will beat a No.5 seed. Since the 12th seed is 8-4 the last three seasons, which one will you choose?
- Buffalo has former Duke guard Bobby Hurley running the show. The Bulls led both undefeated Kentucky and fellow No.1 seed Wisconsin at the half this season.
- Stephen F. Austin has won 28 of their last 29 and is 61-7 the last two seasons, including a win over VCU in the tourney last season. Coach Brad Underwood will be hard to keep in Nacogdoches.
- Wofford is in the “Big Dance” for the fourth time in the last six years but has never won a tournament game (0-3 in NCAA; 0-1 in CBI). The Terriers return five starters from last seasons Southern Conference champs who lost by 17 to Michigan.
- Wyoming is a feel good story from the Mountain West after upsetting San Diego State to make their first tournament appearance since 2002. Leading scorer Larry Nance Jr. is the son of former NBA all-star and slam dunk champ, Larry Nance.
So it begins.
