PSN PGA Tour Handicapping Report: WGC-Match Play Picks

Rory McIlroy is not only one of the best players of our time, but he’s also one of the best in match play formats. PSN managing editor Jeff Shain believes the 27-year old Irishman will capture his second WGC title later this week as he makes the necessary preparations in his game towards winning the one major championship which has eluded him so far…The Masters.

Points Formula

Each analyst provides five picks and two alternates for an event. The top five picks are chosen with the point’s formula below. If a player in the top five withdraws before the event begins, the alternate selections are used accordingly and each selection moves up a spot. An analyst can only receive compensation from an alternate pick if that player is registered in the top five.

-Top pick…100 points

-2nd pick…80 points

-3rd pick…60 points

-4th pick…40 points

-5th pick…20 points

-Alternate picks…0 points
