NFL: The second half of Prime Sports Network’s advanced pre-camp rankings examines the NFC. The Atlanta Falcons have the talent to go back to the Super Bowl, but how is their psyche?

The last team to lose a Super Bowl and make it back the following season were those infamous Buffalo Bills teams from the early ‘90s who made and lost four straight, the first of which turned out to be more mentally damaging than they could have possibly imagined.

So considering how the Atlanta Falcons lost the biggest lead in Super Bowl history to New England last season, one has to wonder even if they return again this February – in Atlanta, of all places – will they have what it takes to get the job done this time?

AFC rankings were posted earlier, with the New England Patriots holding the accustomed top spot. Teams are listed with the latest odds to win Super Bowl 52, along with new faces to watch in camp.

1) Atlanta Falcons (14-1)

  • Offense: RB Brian Hill, TE Eric Saubert, OG Sean Harlow.
  • Defense: DE Takkarist McKinley, DT Dontari Poe, LB Duke Riley, CB Damontae Kazee.

2) Green Bay Packers (10-1)
